| Description: | Aviation communication systems technicians perform and supervise installation, alignment, inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of electronic assemblies and subassemblies, fiber optic cables, and system software for the radio and telecommunications equipment used within the Marine Air Command and Controls Systems (MACCS) to include the Tactical Air Operations Module (TAOM), Air Defense Communications Platform (ADCP), Communications Interface System (AN/MRQ-12), Communications Air Support Central (AN/TSQ-207), and Communications Data Link Platform (CEDLS). The AVCOMM SYSTECH is responsible for the maintenance of entire communications system from the headset/microphone to the antenna. |
