Audiologists

Special Requirements

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
   •   Must hold a Master’s Degree in Audiology from an approved college or university

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
   •   Must complete 25 hours of clinical observation followed by 350 hours of clinical practicum provided by an accredited college or university and under the supervision of a licensed Audiologist.

EXAM:
   •   Must pass a qualifying examination provided by the Board

LICENSURE BY ENDORSEMENT:
   •   Applicants, who can provide evidence of having been licensed in another state or in the District of Columbia or who hold a current unrestricted Certificate of Clinical Competence in the area of Audiology and who have held employment as an Audiologist for two years, may seek licensure by endorsement in lieu of licensure by examination.

LICENSE RENEWAL:
   •   License expires on December 31 each year and must be renewed before this time

Required Fees:

   •   Application: $100
   •   Annual Renewal: $75
   •   Other: Verification Of Licensure From Other States: $20
